Patron Saint's Day of Cathedral church in Zagreb

Cathedral church of Transfiguration of the Lord in Zagreb solemnly celebrated its church slava. The celebration began with a service of the vesper on the Eve of the feast day, and it was served by Metropolitan Jovan of Zagreb-Ljubljana. He was concelebrated by the priests of Zagreb. Next day, on the feast day of the Transfiguration of the Lord Metropolitan Jovan served the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy with the concelebration of seven priests and two deacons of our Metropolitanate. 

Following the prayer, the grapes and the slava wheat were consecrated and the slava cakes were cut. Although it was a work day, there were many believers.
