Patron Saint's Day of the church and the municipality of Ljubinje

The feast day of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos was solemnly celebrated in our small town of Ljubinje. The slava of the church and the municipality began with a service and the Holy Liturgy in the church of the Nativity of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Holy Hierarchal Liturgy was served by heugomen of the monastery Tvrdos, archimandrite Sava.

After the end of the Holy Liturgy a procession was organized on the streets of the town, until the church of the Nativity of the Most Holy Mother of God where the slava cake was cut and new premises within the St. Sava's House were consecrated, which will have a function of a chapel and a mortuary. Following the end of the procession a lunch for many guests from neighbouring towns was organizes as well as a artistic program.
