Patron Saint's Day of the church in Kosutnjak

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch served yesterday on October 31, 2011 on the occasion of the church slava the Divine Liturgy in the church of St. Luke the Apostle and Evangelist in Kosutnjak. 

Besides the brotherhood of the church, His Holiness was concelebrated by many priests of other Belgrade's churchches, and along with many believers and children it gave the service a special holiday's atmoshphere.

After the solemn rite of cutting the slava cake, the head of the church protopresbyter Dr Luka Novakovic handed His Holiness the gift of the priestly brotherhood - icon of Saint Sava. 

Blessing the showed love, Serbian Patriarch held a sermon dedicated to Saint Apostle and Evangelist Luke.
