On Sunday, July 3 in Newcastle, the second largest city in the state of New South Wales, the church devoted to Saint Naum of Ohrid celebrated its Patron Saint's Day. The Holy Hierarchal Liturgy was served by His Grace Bishop Irinej of Metropolitanate of Australia-New Zealand. He was concelebrated on this occasion by presbyter Branko Bosancic and protodeacon Branko Vasilic.

Lots of believers, and especially children and youth gathered on that day and did not  hide its spiritual joy and enthusiasm because of the fact that on the same day of their Patron Saint's Day was present also our spiritual father and leader and because he invoked blessings for all of them .

In his inspired sermon His Grace talked at first about evangelical moral, and then about a life of St. Naum of Ohrid and miraculous healings which happened on his holy relics.

Within the  tripple procession around the church the Bishop cut the slava cake, and then there was a table of love for all the present.

The Bishop once again addressed the faithful with the words of consolation and encouragement, wishing them that the Lord with prayers of St. Naum of Ohrid and all the saints keep and lead them through the way of repentance, forgiveness and love until they meet again.
