Patron Saint's Day of Metropolitan Jovan

On the feast day of the Honorable Chains of the Holy and All-Praised Apostle Peter, His Eminence Metropolitan Jovan of Zagreb-Ljubljana celebrated its slava with the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy which he served along with His Grace Bishop Vasilije of Srem and with the concelebration of many priests and deacons of the Metropolitanate of Zagreb-Ljubljana and the Diocese of Srem. 

Bishop Vasilije on this occasion presented Metropolitan Jovan particles of the relics of St. Prince Lazar and the Venerable Mother Angelina which that would be incorporated into the new throne of the church of Saint Sava at Sveti Duh. Bishop Vasilije of Srem congratulated Metropolitan Jovan His slava and expressed joy for the meeting and the prayerful gathering. 

At the end of the Liturgy Bishop Vasilije blessed the wheat and cut the slava cake after which there was a table of love.
