Patron's feast day of the Diocese of Bihac-Petrovac
On Sunday, 15 September 2013 the Patron feast day of the Diocese of Bihac-Petrovac - Synaxis of All Serbian Saints, was solemnly celebrated
Their Graces Bishop Joanikije of Budimlje-Niksic and Bishop Atanasije of Bihac-Petrovac served the Divine Liturgy in the church of Venerable Mother Paraskeva - Saint Petka in Podbrdo near Mrkonjic Grad. Clergy and monks of the Diocese of Bihac-Petrovac as well as guest priests from Belgrade, Montengero and other dioceses of the Serbian Orthodox Church concelebrated to the Bishops.
Following the Liturgy there was a cultural and art program in front of the church. This year the program is enriched with diocesan marking of the jubilee of the 1700th anniversary of the Edic of Milan. On this occasion protopresbyter-stavrophor Professor Dr. Boris Brajevic, dean of the Faculty of Orthodox Theology "Saint Basil of Ostrog" in Foca held a brilliant lecture regarding the Edict of Milan.
Choir of priests of the Diocese of Bihac-Petrovac "Saint Roman Method", ethno ensamble "Iva" from Doboj and gusla players Milicic Dragan and Bosko Roljic from the Association of epic poets and gusla players "od Zmijanja Rajko" from Banja Luka participated in the cultural program.
Many high representatives of the Republic of Srpska, Republic of Serbia, the Government of Una-Sana Canton, Republic of BiH, Army of BiH were present at the celebration.
