Prayerful remembrance on Prince Mihailo Obrenovic

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch served today, on the occasion of the 143rd anniversary of the death of Prince Mihailo Obrenovic, the memorial service to one of the most significant Serbian leaders of the new century.

The memorial service in the Belgrade Cathedral Church, where is the grave of Price Mihailo is located, was attended by representatives of the Government of Serbia, Ministry of Defence and the General Staff of the Army of Serbia, Ministry of labor and social politics, as well as representatives of non-government organizations committed to fostering traditions of the liberation wars of Serbia.
