Prayerfull remembrance on heroes of the First World War

On the occasion of 97th anniversary of the First World War, His Grace Vicar Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno served yesterday in front of the Monument to the Russian Soldiers at the New cemetary in Belgrade a memorial service for the glorious heroes fallen for freedom of the Russian and Serbian people. This prayerful remembrance on soldiers of the First World War was organized by the Embassy of the Russian  Federation in Belgrade and other Russian institutions in Serbia.

The memorial service was atteneded by, besides His Excellency Alexander Konuzin - ambassador of the Russian Federation in Serbia, representatives of the Serbian Army and Serbian associations for fostering traditions of the liberation wars, representatives of the diplomatic corps, people from public life of Serbia, as well as Russian citizens who live in our country.
