Presentation of Vuk Award in the Belgrade City Assembly

His Grace Vicar Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno attended a formal presentation of the Vuk Award at the City Assembly in Belgrade. After he conveyed a blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Irinej of Serbia, Bishop pointed out that the Church always blessed creativity and work in favor of the general benefit of the people and the fatherland.

A commission composed of nine eminent artists, writers and scientists presented the Vuk Award for year 2009 to: "Renaissance" ensemble, Mr. Rados Bajic, Ms. Olga Jevric, Mr. Dragan Lakicevic, Mr. Nenad Ljubinkovic, Ms. Ljiljana Habjanovic Djurovic, the Megatrend University, Mr. Zarko Dimic, Mr. Ljubisa Djidic and Guca trumpet festival.
