President of the BIH Federation visits Diocese of Zahumlje-Herzegovina
On Wednesday, November 16, 2011, the Diocese of Zahumlje-Herzegovina in Mostar was visited by Mr. Zivko Budimir, the president of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina with associates. The distinguished guests were cordially welcomed and received by Bishop Grigorije of Zahumlje-Herzegovina and the parish of Mostar protopresbyter-staurophor Radivoje Krulj.
After the tour of the complex of the Cathedral church and the Old Church there was a conversation in the lounge. A main theme of the conversation was the return of Serbs as well as the employment problems of the Serbian returnees. President Budimir was informed of all projects of the Diocese and the problems which appear during the realization of the same. Also about the position of the Orthodox Church and its believers in Mostar was discussed.
At the end of the talk President Budimir expressed a great desire and readiness to help not only in the realization of the given goals of the Diocese but also an endeavor to maintain good relations in future and a sincere cooperation with the Orthodox community in the town on the Neretva
