President Dodik visited Cathedral church in Foca
President of the Republic of Srpska Mr. Milorad Dodik visited on 5 July 2013 the Cathedral church of Saint Sava in Foca, the construction of which has lasted since 2006. Minister of Education and Culture Mr. Goran Mutabdzija, Minister of Industry, Energy and Mining Mr. Zeljko Kovacevic, the head of the Municipalitity of Foca Mr. Radisav Masic accompanied the President.
The brotherhood of the church of Saint Sava with the members of the Church Board and the Church Construction Board welcomed the high delegation.
The State supported financially the final construction activities. President Dodik was very satisfied with the works done thus far and emphasized the role and the significance that this church had for the Serbian people, because it was a witness of the time we live in. He also underlined that our generation should be proud that it had managed to build the greatest church in Bosnia in Herzegovina.
President Dodik promised that the State would help the further construction activities until the church has been completed.
This was the fifth visit of President Dodik to the cathedral church of Saint Sava in Foca.
