Between November 21 and 26 clergy of the Dioceses of Vinnitsa and Tulchin of the UOC-MP delivered seventeen metric tons of humanitarian aid to Donbass residents, reports the Vinnitsa Diocese’s official website.

Archpriest Alexei Volkov, Archpriest Anatoly Kuznetsov and Hieromonk Stefan (Poperechny) made the delivery.

The shipment included food, clothes, personal hygiene products, and toys, collected at thirteen parishes of Vinnitsa and the neighboring area. The aid was received by orphanages of the towns of Avdiivka and Chasov Yar along with the house of mercy attached to the Church of the Miracle of the Holy Archangel Michael in Novomikhailovka village, where thirty-five elderly people live.

The elderly, most of whom are sick and bed-ridden, sincerely thanked the priests for the aid they rendered.

It should be noted that Archpriests Alexei and Anatoly have been involving in similar humanitarian projects for two and a half years. To date this has been the largest shipment delivered by them to the civilians of Donbass.

Returning to Vinnitsa, the volunteer priests conveyed thanks to the city’s religious communities on behalf of those they had visited.
