Prof. Zoran Mihajlovic reposed in the Lord

Prof. Zoran Mihajlovic, Dean of the Academy of the Serbian Orthodox Church for Fine Arts and Conservation, died on August 8, 2019.

 Zoran Mihajlovic was born on October 16, 1955. He graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade in 1984 in the class of prof. Mladen Srbinovic. He received title of Master of Painting in 1986. He was ordinary professor of Mosaics at the Serbian Orthodox Church's Academy for Fine Arts and Conservation since 1995, where he was dean since 2014.

Prof. Mihajlovic exhibited his paintings and works of arts at numerous exhibitions in Serbia and abroad. He is author of over 150 mosaics that adorn some greatest shrines of the Serbian Church:  monasteries of Ostrog  and Vitovnica, St. Parasceve's Chapel in the Kalemegdan citadel of Belgrade... He became a member of the Association of Fine Artists of Serbia in 1984.  In addition, he was engaged with  production of wooden musical instruments and sculptures.
