Reception of evangelical priests from Switzerland in the Serbian Patriarchate

His Holiness Patriarch IRINEJ of Serbia received today in the Patriarchate chapel of St. Symeon the Myrrh-Gusher a delegation of evangelical vicar priests led by the Revd Hans Strub. The reception was attended Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno, Vicar of Patriarch. The reception and the arrival of the evangelical priests was organized by M.Sc. Sasa Branisavljevic, who is preparing his doctoral dissertation at the Faculty of the Theology of the University of Zurich.

The evangelical priest the Revd Hans Strub is responsible for a practical education of priests in the Evangelical Church, and the educational center that he manages is located in Zurich.

A goal of two-day visit of a group of priests from Switzerland in Belgrade is a visit of all important places and landmarks of Belgrade, among which is the St. Sava Memorial Cathedral in Vracar, the Museum of the Serbian Orthodox Church and the Faculty of the Orthodox Theology of the University of Belgrade.
