Rector of the cathedral in Belgrade presents Patriarch Kirill with an icon of St. Lazarus of Kosovo

After the Divine Liturgy celebrated on 6 May 2010 at St. George's on Poklonnaya Hill, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia met with members of St. Michael's patriarchal choir in Belgrade led by the rector of the cathedral and artistic director of the choir, Archpriest Peter Lukic. The choir has come to Moscow with the blessing of Patriarch Irinej of Serbia for the 9th Easter Festival.

On behalf of his choir, Father Peter presented Patriarch Kirill with an icon of the Holy Martyr Lazarus of Kosovo with a piece of his relics. His Holiness thanked the choir members for the gift and blessed their work for the Church, wishing them new creative achievements and successful performance during the festival.
