On Sunday, 24 November 2013, on the feast-day of Saint King Stefan of Decani,  relics of Holy Unmercenaries Cosmas and Damian, which are kept at the monastery of Sopocani, were brought in the church of  Holy Ascension of God at Cacak

 By God’s  grace and with the blessing of Bishop of Sumadia and administrator of the Diocese of Zica Jovan, and Bishop Teodosije of Raska-Prizren and thanks to efforts of the clergy of the Ascension church, the relics csme at 3 p.m. at the City square accompanied by  monks from the Sopocani monastery. They gave the tabernacle with the relics to Archimandrite Timotej from the Ascension monastery, and then the procession went through the streets of the city towards the church. In front of the church the relics were solemnly welcomed by clergymen and monks in the presence of many believers.

The shrine with the relics of Holy Unmercenaries Cosmas and Damian rested in the Cacak’s church for seven days. The Holy Liturgy was celebrated every day, as well as the rite of supplication and the akathist. On Thursday, 28 November, on the feast-day of Saint Matthew the Apostle, the priesthood of the temple celebrated the sacrament of annointnment..

A great blessing for the faithful people of the Cacak area was on 29 November when the church was visited by Bishop Jovan who served akathist to Holy Unmercenaries Cosmas and Damian.

On Saturday, 30 November 2013, on the feast-day of Saint Gregory the Wonderworker of Neo-Caesarea  hieromonk Zosima from Sopocani monastery celebrated the Divine Liturgy. The same day the tabernacle with  relics of Holy Unmercenaries Cosmas and Damian was taken back back to Sopocani.
