Saint Nicholas celebrated in Woolloongabba
On Monday, 18 December 2017, parishioners in Woolloongabba had a blessing and an honour to be visited by His Grace Bishop Siluan of Australia and New Zealand and participated at the Vigil service on the Eve of the Patron Saint-day, the feast day of Saint Nicholas.
The Vigil service was served by dean of the church protopresbyter Jovan Cvetic. Many parishioners from all parishes of Brisbane and Gold Coast with their priests attended the Vigil service.
The following day, a celebration of the church slava on the feast day of Saint Nicholas began with the Hierarchal Liturgy which was celebrated by His Grace Bishop Siluan. The Bishop was concelebrated by the local clergy.
Following the Liturgy and blessing the slava cake His Grace Siluan and all priests of Brisbane with lots of parioshioners went to the church hall where they had a lunch.
