Saint Peter's Day in Bijelo Polje

The feast of Holy Apostles Peter and Paul, the slava of the church in Bijelo Polje was celebrated on Thursday, July 12, with the liturgical gathering which was led by His Grace Bishop Joanikije of Budimlje-Niksic and with the solemn procession of the faithful which in memory of Apostles and Saints of God went throught streets of Bijelo Polje. 

HIs Grace Bishop Joanikije during the Diivne Liturgy was concelebrated by many priests of the Episcopal Deanery of Bijelo Polje and monks of the Diocese of Budimlje-Niksic.

After the Liturgy, the celebration of Holy Apostles Peter and Paul was marked with the procession which began at the Cathedral church and went through streets of the town. Lots of people participated in the procession led by HIs Grace Bishop Filaret of Milesevo and His Grace Bishop Joanikije of Budimlje-Niksic and which ended at this church.

The Saint Peter's Day Academy was organized afterwards, Bishop Joanikije as a host blessed the Academy and adressed the present people.
