Saint Sava celebrated in the Saint Sava Cathedral church
Patriarch Porfirije: Today we rejoice spiritually as Christians, but we also rejoice as Orthodox Serbs, because today we celebrate the ancestor of our family, the one who gave birth to us in Christ, the one who gave birth to us by the Holy Spirit, the one who once and for all paved the way on which the Serbian people is going and should go. That path is the way of Christ, it is the way of the Gospel of Christ.
Saint Sava, the first Archbishop of Serbia, was celebrated with the Holy Hierchical Liturgy ofificiated by His Holiness Porfirije, the Serbian Patriarch in the covenant church of the Serbian people in the Vracar district in Belgrade, on 27 January 2022.

The singing of the choirs of the Saint Sava Cathedrla church contributed to the beauty of the holy service of God.
