Saint Sava Day in Paris

In Paris the feast day of Saint Sava was marked with a series of  celebrations.

With the blessing of Bishop Luke of Western Europe, Archbishop Joseph of Western Europe of the Romanian Orthodox Church officiated the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy at the Cathedral church of Saint Sava of the Diocese of Western Europe on 27 January 2015. Beside the parish choir, also nuns from the monastery Bois-Salair sang responses.

The celebration began on 23 January with the Saint Sava Academy, which was prepared by local teachers. On Sunday, February 1st, with the solemn lunch the association Serbian Community in France marked its Patrons Saint-day (slava).
