Saint Sava Day prayerfully celebrated in Djurdjevi Stupovi

The feast day of Saint Sava, Archbishop and Enlightener of Serbia, was solemnly and prayerfully celebrated in the cathedral monastery of the Diocese of Budimlye-Niksic, Djurdjevi Stupovi.
On the feast day, January 27, 2021 His Grace Bishop Joanikije cof Budimlye-Niksic, the administrator of the Metropolitanate of Montenegro and the Littoral, celebrated the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy with the concelebration of priests and monks.
The liturgical gathering was attended by the faithful people and children of the Berane region, to whom Bishop Joanikije talked about the importance of Saint Sava for the Serbian people and overall Orthodoxy.
The Bishop blessed the slava cake in honor of Our Holy Father Sava. At the end of the festive service, Dragan and Milovan Sljivancanin presented Bishop Joanikije with a scepter as a gift, as a sign of brotherly love and attention.
