Serbian Bishop Niakanor celebrated in Timisoara

On the eighth Sunday after Pentecost, August 11, 2019, with the blessing of His Grace Bishop of Buda (Hungary) and the administrator of Timisoara, the Holy hierarchal Liturgy in the Cathedral Church in Timisoara was celebrated by His Grace Nikanor, Bishop of Banat.

The clergy of the dioceses of Timisoara, Buda and Banat concelebrated in the prayerful presence of Bishop Lukian.

On this occasion, Bishop of Banat Nikanor recalled his bishop's consecration when he was elevated to the episcopal rank on August 11, 1985.

After the Holy Liturgy, Bishops Lukian and Nikanor, with the priesthood, performed the holy sacrament of baptism and chrysmation of child Uros, son of the diocesan deacon Miodrag Jovanovic from Timisoara.
