Exhibition of the archival documents “The Serbian Orthodox Church and the Russian Emigration (1920-1940)
With the blessing of Serbian Patriarch Irinej and the Holy Synod of the Serbian Orthodox Church, the Archives of the Serbian Orthodox Church is to hold an exhibition entitled "The Serbian Orthodox Church and the Russian Emigration (1920-1940)".
The exhibition will be opened, with God’s help, at the Central Military Club of Serbia (19 Brace Jugovica Str.) on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at 1 P.M. The exhibition of the archived documents consists of 121 showpieces (documents, photographs, posters, newspapers and other historical items).
The exhibition is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the repose of Metropolitan of Kiev and Galicia and the head of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad, Anthony Khrapovitsky (1863-1936). The reviewers of the catalogue are Dr. Aleksej Timofejev (The Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Belgrade) and Dr. Miroslav Perisic, Director of the Archives of Serbia.
