Relics of St. Stefan Lazarevic brought to Belgrade for veneration
10. March 2017 - 13:34With blessing of the Serbian Patriarch Irinej and thanks to the benevolence of His Grace Bishop Ignatius of Branichevo, relics of St. Stefan Lazarevic have been brought from monastery Manasija to the church of Ascension of the Lord in Belgrade.
His Grace Bishop Arsenius, Vicar Bishop of His Holiness, prayerfully welcomed the coffin with the relics in the church-yard accompanied by clergy of the Arhdiocese of Belgrade-Karlovci. The acathist in honour of the saintly Despotes Stefan was read in the church in attendance of a huge number of faithful, among whom there were representatives of the Army of Serbia, monastics and many personalities from public and cultural life of the capital city, Belgrade, which St. Stefan Lazarevic established as his capital in the 15th Century.

Proclaiming the faith of the Apostles the faithful of Saint Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church in Philadelphia gathered for The procession of Icons celebrating the Sunday of Orthodoxy.
Braving chilly conditions they made procession with their icons lead by Father Milorad Orlic and Radovan Micic chanting the troparion. Upon re-entering the church all the faithful, including children, read the Synodicon and declaration of the faith.

St. George Serbian Orthodox Church of Cincinnati, Ohio celebrated a monumental day on February 19, 2017 as His Grace Bishop Irinej, the recently appointed Bishop of the Diocese of Eastern America, visited for a very special occasion. Bishop Irinej came not only to meet the people of his new diocese and to lead a Hierarchical Divine Liturgy, but to bestow a blessing and elevate Father Petar Petrovic, who has been serving in the presbyterate for over 40 years (43 to be exact), with his loving wife Protinica Gordana by his side! Father Petar took up his cross to follow Christ by serving as a priest many years ago in Serbia.

This year in the Saint Steven's Serbian Orthodox Cathedral in Alhambra, California, on Sunday, March 5, 2017, His Grace Bishop Maxim, together with the parish clergy and parishioners, celebrated the Hierarchical Diving Liturgy followed by the special Sunday of Orthodoxy commemorated service with the proclamation and processsion with holy icons.

8. March 2017 - 9:45On Sunday, March 5th, 2017 Orthodox clergymen, together with their faithful flocks, gathered together at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Lorain, Ohio to celebrate the victory over iconoclasm - also known as "Triumph of Orthodoxy".
The morning started with the welcoming of His Eminence Metropolitan Savas of Pittsburgh (Greek Archdiocese of America), who together with all clergy present began the morning with Matins. Joining His Eminence were parishioners from St. George Serbian Orthodox Church in Lorain along with their pastor, Rev. Fr. Sinisa Hrvacevic. Also in attendance were a number of clergy from a variety of jurisdictions, including priests from Greek, Carpatho-Russian, and Ukrainian churches.
Presanctified Liturgy at New Marcha Monastery
8. March 2017 - 9:02Monastery New Marcha Richfield, OH welcomed clergy and faithful from the Cleveland Deanery on Friday, 3 March 2017 for the Holy Presanctified Liturgy that began at 6 PM.
The Holy Liturgy was served by the Very Rev Protopresbyter Mijoljub Matic from St. Sava Church in Broadview Heights and the Very Rev. Protopresbyter Rev. Dragoslav Kosic from St. Sava Cathedral in Parma.
