Slava Celebrated at Saint George in Carmichaels, PA

The St. George Serbian Orthodox Church in Carmichaels, Pennsylvania was consecrated in October 1954. Slava’s have been celebrated in the parish church continuously since that time.
This year the parish Slava was celebrated on Sunday, May 4, 2014. During the Divine Liturgy with the Litya, the procession proceeded around the church three times. God provided good weather for the procession to take place.

On Sunday, May 11th, 2014 at the Cultural centre Banski dvor in Banjaluka His Grace Bishop Atanasije of Bihac-Petrovac attended the solemn academy on the occasion of marking the Armed Forces and Veterans Day of the Republic of Srpska.
The event was attended by President of Republic of Srpska Mr. Milorad Dodik, Serbian member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Mr. Nebojsa Radmanovic, President of the Veterans Organization of the Republic of Srpska Mr. Pantelija Curguz, generals from R. Srpska in the Armed Forces of BiH, Minister of Labour Mr. Petar Djokic and others.
Doxology to Archbishop Ambrosios of Peterhof

At the Cathedral church of Saint Basil of Ostrog in Niksic on 7 May 2014, the doxology was served in honour of the arrival of His Eminence Arcbishop Ambrose of Peterhof, rector of the Saint Petersburg's Spiritual Academy to the Diocese of Budimlje-Niksic.
His Grace Bishop Joanikije of Budimlje-Niksic welcome cordially HIs Eminence Archbishop Ambrose, who came to the Diocese of Budimlje-Niksic on the occasion of the feast day of the Resurrection of Christ and forthcoming slava of the Cathedral church of Saint Basil of Ostrog with his associates, professors and students of the St. Petersburg's Spiritual Academy in order to participate in the cultural and spiritual event " Days of Saint Basil of Ostrog"
