High Delegation from Russia visits Serbian Patriarch

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch, received at the Serbian Patriarch in Belgrade Mr. Andrei Kostin, president of the VTB Bank, Mr. Oleg Sienko, director general of Uralvagonzavod, as well as His Excellency Alexander Chepurin, Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Belgrade.

Winter youth retreat in New Carlisle

This year we are trying something new. Location of the winter youth retreat, as most of you already know, is going to be at the Serbian Monastery in New Carlisle Indiana – an hour and a half drive from Chicago. We have arranged a bus to pick up and return all those from the Chicago area, as well as those arriving to Chicago. Please also know, there may be a change of location if the number of participants is overwhelming. For now, take a look at the pictures from the Monastery mentioned. It will be a place you will never forget. We will have more details after December 1.

In Cetinje Monastery Memorial Service Celebrated to Victims of Holodomor

The first day of December is the day when Ukranians remember the victims of Holodomor. On the occasion of  this event, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated in Cetinje monastery as well as the memorial service for the victims. His Eminence Metropolitan Amfilohije celebrated the Liturgy in the presence of diplomatic representatives of Ukrain and Russia in Montenegro. 

Bishop Andrej Celebrates in Vozdovac

On Sunday, 27th after Pentecost, His Grace Bishop Andrej of Remesiana, vicar of Serbian Patriarch, celebrated the Hierarchal Divine Liturgy in Sts Constantine and Helen in Vozdovac. The Bishop was concelebrated by protopresbyter Djordje Popovic, presbyter Jovan Petrovic and protodeacon Radomir Rakic. 

Feast Day of Saint Alypius the Stylite on Banovo Brdo

His Grace Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno celebrated, with the blessing of His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch, the Divine Liturgy on the feast day of Saint Alypius the Stylite in the Saint George Church in Banovo Brdo in Belgrade. 

Bishop Irinej: Condolences оffered оn the repose of Patriarch Ignatius IV of Antioch

His Grace Bishop Irinej of the Metropolitanate of Australia and New Zealand of the Serbian Orthodox Church, having learned of the falling asleep in the Lord of the deeply revered Patriarch Ignatius IV of the Antioch and All the East, extended to His Eminence Archbishop Paul of Sydney, Metropolitan of Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines, the reverend clergy, venerable monastics, and faithful of the Archdiocese of Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Antioch and All the East, his most sincere and heartfelt condolences and prayers for the repose of His Beatitude Patriarch Ignatius IV.
