Donator's slava of the monastery of Decani monastery

On the feast day of St. King Stephen of Decani which is celebrated as a donator's slava of the monastery, St. Liturgy was served by Bishop Teodosije of Raska-Prizren and Kosovo-Metohija with the concelebration of retired Bishop Atanasije of Zahumlje-Herzegovina and 30 priests. In the Liturgy Decani monastery sang, and about 1000 believers participated from various places from Kosovo and Metohija,  Serbia, Montenegro, Republic of Srpska and abroad. The liturgy was attended by Mr. Oliver Ivanovic (state secretary at Ministry for Kosovo and Metohija), dean of the Pristina University in Mitrovica Professor Dr Vitosevic, representatives of UNMIK, KFOR, EULEX, EU and international diplomatic missions.

Name Day of Archbishop Jovan celebrated

With the blessing of His Beatitude Archbishop of Ohrid and Metropolitan of Skopje kyr kyr Jovan, in an old monastery of St. John Chrysostom in Nizepolj near Bitolj, on the occasion of the monastery's slava and the name day of His Beatitude, the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy was served by His Grace Bishop of Bregalnica and Locum Tenens of Bitolj kyr Marko with the concelebration of His Grace Bishop of Stobi and Locum Tenens of Strumica kyr David and priests of the Archbishopric of Ohrid.

Solemn vesper service in Decani monastery

In the monastery of Decani this year's celebration of the donator's slava, St. King Stephen of Decani began with a feast day's vesper service which was served by Bishop Teodosije of Raska Prizren and Kosovo and Metohija and retired Bishop Atanasije of Zahumlje-Herzegovina. The vesper was attended by 200 monks, nuns and believers from many Dioceses of the SOC.

Bishop Atanasije serves in St. Dimetrios church

His Grace Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno served on Sunday, on the feast day dedicated to St. Apostle Philip, with the concelebrationo of priests and deacons of the Archbishopric of Belgrade-Karlovac the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the church of St.  Great Martyr Demetrios in New Belgrade.

Christmas poklade in the Seminary of St. Sava

His Grace Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno was present at the vesper service before the beginning of the Christmas Lent in the Seminary of St. Sava in Belgrade, after which the solemn dinner was prepared. During one hundred seventy and five years of the existence of this school traditionally on the Christmas poklade around the table of love are professors and students are gathered.
