Serbian Patriarch in the church of the Resurrection of Christ in Berlin
His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch visited on December 3rd, 2013 the church of the Resurrection of Christ in Holzmann street in Berlin
In front of the church Serbian Patriarch Irinej was welcomed by the head of the church, archpriest Dragan Sekulic, archpriest Veljko Gacic, episcopal dean for North East Germany and the church of Saint Sava in Berlin, archpriest Andrej Sikojev from the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, archpriest Mikhail Kovalj from the Orthodox Church of Poland, presbyter Radomir Kolundzic, parish priest of the church of Saint Sava in Berlin, and priest Petar Dojkovic from the British-Scandinavian diocese.
At the church of the Resurrection of Christ the feast’s vigil service was celebrated. All priests participated in the service.
The president of the Church-school congregation in Berlin Mr. Dragan Mitrovski on behalf of the clergy and parishioners of both churches gave a gift to His Holiness. The gift contains a small portion of the Berlin wall which should symbolize the unification of the Church-school congregation.
