Serbian Patriarch consecrated the church of Holy Trinity in Brunswick East
On Meatfare Sunday, on 6 March 2016, His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch, consecrated the church of Holy Trinity in Brunswick East with the concelebration of His Eminence Metropolitan Amfilohije of Montenegro and the Littoral and Their Graces Bishops Longin and Irinej.
The solemn service was attended by a great number of pious parishioners who had given immeasurable contribution to the renovation and decoration of this church, that had been purchased in the 1970s from the Anglican Church. At the end of the Divine Liturgy, His Holiness handed in high medals of the Serbian Orthodox Church and gramatas (gratitude awards) to the most deserving and most committed parishioners, who by their donations and personal endeavors had given an example how to serve their neighbors and participate in liturgical life of the Church.
