Serbian Patriarch Irinej celebrates in Grocka

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch celebrated on Sunday, 2 December 2012, the Divine Liturgy in the church of Holy Trinity in Belgrade's suburb of Grocka. The church in Grocka was built in 1883.
The interior of the church of Holy Trinity has darkened because of the burning of candles, and Patriarch Irinej warned about it and said that the church needed to be thoroughly conserved and restored.
During the Liturgy the church was full of believers and losts of young people partook the Holy Communion. The Patriarch commended the presence of children in the church and it is both merit of the parents' upbringing and the religious education in the schools.
