Serbian Patriarch Irinej in Prizren
Serbian Patriarch Irinej along with bishops celebrated the Divine Liturgy in Prizren. The Holy Synod of Bishops and the Committee for Kosovo and Metohia held a meeting
His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch celebrated yesterday the Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral Church of Saint Great Martyr George in Prizren, with concelebration of seven bishops, members of the Holy Synod of Bishops and the Committee for Kosovo and Metohia.
Along with bishops, clergy and monks of the Diocese of Raska-Prizren concelebrated, while the choir of the Seminary of Saints Cyril and Methodius sang responses.
Following the Divine Liturgy and the breakfast at the Diocesan court, Patriarch Irinej presided over the regular session of the Holy Synod of Bishops. After the session the Committee for Kosovo and Metohia also held a meeting.
Besides Serbian Patriarch Irinej in Kosovo and Metohia were also: Metropolitan Amfilohije of Montenegro and the Littoral, Bishop Vasilije of Srem, Bishop Pahomije of Vranje, Bishop Jovan of Sumadia, Bishop Joanikije of Budimlje-Niksic, Bishop David of Krusevac and retired Bishop Atanasije of Zahumlje-Hercegovina. Along with aforementioned Bishops in attendance at the meeting of the Committee for Kosovo and Metohia were also Bishop Teodosije of Raska-Prizren and Bishop Jovan of Lipljan, Vicar to Serbian Patriarch.
