Serbian Patriarch Irinej serves in church of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos in Zemun

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch served yesterday on July 29, 2012 the Divine Liturgy in the church of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos in Zemun. This old Zemun's church from XVII century was fully reconstructed. It is returned to its splendour as it had in 1776 when it was built by Orthodox citizens of Zemun.
Among believers at the Liturgy there were many parents with children who partook the Holy Bread. Serbian Patriarch was very delighted to see this so he pointed out the significance of bringing children to the church in their early childhood. He also told many morals to the present believers.
Serbian Patriarch Irinej thanked to protopresbyter-staurophor Branko Zelen, priest of the Zemun church.
