Serbian Patriarch Irinej in Trebinje
His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch came today to Trebinje where he was welcomed by the highest officials of the Serbian Orthodox Church and the Republic of Srpska, as well as thousands of citizens of this and neighbouring municipalities. The Patriarch was welcomed by Their Graces Bishops Grigorije of Zahumlje-Herzegovina, Fotije of Dalmatia, Maxim of Western America and retired Bishop Atanasije (Jevtic); as well as the President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik, director of the Department for faith of the Republic of Srpska Jovo Turanjanin, adviser to the President of Serbia Mladjen Djordjevic, BiH Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Mirko Sarovic, Serbian director Emir Kusturica, priesthood and monks of the Diocese of Zahumlje-Herzegovina, as well as many guests.
After the welcome of Patriarch Irinej, the solemn procession went through streets of the city to the Cathedral church where moleben was held.

After the Cathedral church the Patriarch served the memorial service to all suffered fighters of Trebinje in the last war, at the monument raised to their honour and remembrance.
Patriarch Irinej then, with his host Bishop Grigorije and guests, visited the Herzegovina Gracanica, where after the church tour, a solemn table of love was prepared.
