Serbian Patriarch Kyr IRINEJ to Visit Western American Diocese

With great joy we wish to inform the faithful of the Western American Diocese, God-loving clergy, venerable monastics of our Church and all our neighbors, that His Holiness Patriarch of Serbia Kyr IRINEJ, on December 4th, 2011, the Feast Day of the Entry of the Most Holy Theotokos, will visit our Parish of Saint Sava in Phoenix, Arizona, and serve the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy.

To our pious people the Patriarchs visit and presiding over the Divine Eucharistic Gathering brings a plethora of spiritual blessing, the opportunity that we should not miss.

His Holiness Patriarch IRINEJ will arrive in Phoenix on Saturday afternoon, December 3rd, flying in from Chicago, together with His Grace Bishop of New Gracanica and Midwestern Diocese Kyr Longin, accompanied by Deacon Nikolaj Kostur. A special welcome at the airport will be arranged. During the Patriarch’s stay in our Diocese, we plan to visit St. Anthony’s Greek Orthodox Monastery, Florence, AZ and the Serbian Orthodox Monastery of St. Paisius, Safford, Arizona.

We invite you all to come to Phoenix so that we may with our presence, kindness and love welcome the Serbian Patriarch to Western America on this special day and the Feast of the Theotokos as it is fitting for us to do.

Welcome to Phoenix on December 3 and 4, 2011!
