Serbian Patriarch met representatives of the Union of education workers

His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Irinej received President of the Union of Education Workers of Serbia, Ms. Jasna Jankovic, at the Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade, on 7 June 2017

Ms. Jankovic expressed gratitude to the Head of the Serbian Orthodox Church for the cordial reception during which they discussed the still unresolved employment status of teachers of religious education - catechists in the schools of the Republic of Serbia. Patriarch Irinej thanked the esteemed guest for the visit, care and efforta, wishing her all the best from the Lord.

The reception, in addition to associates of Ms. Jankovic, was also attended by the Secretary of the Committee for Religious Education of the Archdiocese of Belgrade-Karlovac Ms Sandra Dabic and the general secretary of the Office of Serbian Patriarch deacon Dr. Aleksandar Prascevic.
