Serbian Patriarch ordains hierodeacon Sava (Bundalo) to the rank of hieromonk

His Holiness Porfirije, Serbian Patriarch, ordained hierodeacon Sava (Bundalo), brother of the monastery of Saint Petka in Zagreb, to the rank of hieromonk.

On the fifth Sunday of Holy Forty-Days, 18 April 2021, when we celebrate a memory of Venerable Mary of Egypt, His Holiness Porfirije, Serbian Patriarch, Administrator of the Diocese of Zagreb-Ljubljana, celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Cathedral church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Zagreb.

During the Holy Liturgy His Holiness Patriarch ordained hierodeacon Sava (Bundalo), brother of the Monastery of Saint Petka in Zagreb, to the rank of hieromonk.

His Holiness, besides newly ordained father Sava, was concelebrated also by abbot of the Krka Monastery Sevastijan (Gordon), protosynchelos Teofil (Dimitric), head of the Osovica Monastery, protosynchelos Nektarije (Djuric), protosynchelos Venijamin (Kovacic), protonamesnik Bogoljub Ostojic, hieromonk Nikon (Cveticanin), presbyter Nenad Dragicevic, protodeacon Radojica Zagran, hierodeacon Vasilije (Starovlah) and deacon Radomir Vrucinic.
