Serbian Patriarch Porfirije received Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Maja Gojkovic

His Holiness Porfirije, Serbian Patriarch received  Mrs. Maja Gojkovic,  Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia and the Minister of Culture and Information, in the Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade, on March 24, 2021.

Serbian Patriarch Porfirije thanked Minister Gojkovic for her greeting and presence at his enthronement to the throne of the primates of the  Serbian Church, as well as for this visit during which they discussed deepening cooperation between the Serbian Orthodox Church and the Ministry of Culture and Information. The Patriarch emphasized that joint work on projects of national importance must be nurtured and developed.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture and Information thanked the Serbian Patriarch for the warm reception and emphasized the importance of the church's cultural and national heritage. Minister Gojkovic expressed her eagerness to cooperate with the Serbian Orthodox Church at the highest possible level and on all issues within the competence of her department.

The meeting was attended by Assistant Minister Danijela Vanusic, Director of the Museum of the Serbian Orthodox Church Deacon Vladimir Radovanovic, Chief and Deputy Head of the Minister’s Office Branislav Maricic and Stanko Blagojevic, as well as the Head of the Office of Serbian Patriarch Deacon Aleksandar Prascevic, PhD.
