The Patriarch received the Ambassador of Serbia to the Vatican

His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Irinej received His Excellency Dejan Sahovic, the new elected Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Holy See, at the Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade on 1 June 2017.
His Excellency Sahovic expressed gratitude to the Primate of the Serbian Orthodox Church for the cordial reception during which they discussed various aspects of relations between the Serbian Orthodox Church and the Roman Catholic Church. The Serbian Patriarch Irinej thanked the distinguished guest for the visit and wished him all the best from the Lord in his diplomatic mission. The reception was attended by the General Secretary of the Office of the Serbian Patriarch, Deacon Dr. Aleksandar Prascevic.
