The Serbian Patriarch received the Greek Minister of Defense

His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Irinej received Mr. Panos Kammenos, Minister of National Defense of the Republic of Greece, at the Serbian Patriarchate Palace in Belgrade on 24 May 2017.

The Honorable Minister expressed his gratitude to the Primate of the Serbian Orthodox Church for a gift as well as for the warm and friendly reception during which they discussed various aspects of life of people both in Serbia and Greece and some topics of general interest. The Serbian Patriarch Irinej thanked the distinguished guest for the visit and the delivered gift, wishing him abundant blessings from the Lord and a full success in his future work.

The reception was attended by His Grace Bishop Irinej of Backa, His Excellency the Ambassador of Greece to Serbia Elias Eliades, Chief of the Office of the Serbian Patriarch deacon Dr. Aleksandar Praščević and officials from the Greek and Serbian Ministries of  Defense.
