Serbian Patriarch receives Ambassador of Egypt

Serbian Patriarch Irinej received His Excellency Amr Aljowaily, Ambassador of Egypt to the Republic of Serbia, at the Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade on 6 June 2018.

His Excellency Aljowaily thanked His Holiness for the cordial reception during which they had conversations about possibilities offered to Serbian tourists that during their stay in Egyptian resorts they might visit Christian shrines. Serbian Patriarch Irinej thanked the distinguished Ambassador for the visit and his efforts to foster friendly relations between the peoples of Egypt and Serbia.

The reception was attended by Consul of the Embassy of Egypt Mr. Ahmed Ezat, head of the consular and cultural affairs Mrs. Iman Belah Gatwari and the head of the Office of the Serbian Patriarch Deacon Aleksandar Prascevic, PhD.
