Serbian Patriarch receives Serbian Ambassador to Bulgaria

His Holiness Porfirije, Serbian Patriarch received His Excellency Dr. Zeljko Jovic, Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of Bulgaria in the Serbian Patriarchate on 12 April 2021.

During the meeting with Ambassador Jovic, Serbian Patriarch Porfirije pointed out that he was glad that the Bulgarian Orthodox Church, led by Patriarch Neophyte, was cultivating good relations with the diplomatic representative of the Republic of Serbia in the Republic of Bulgaria.

Ambassador Jovic informed the Serbian Patriarch about the current situation in Bulgaria and emphasized that he is making great efforts to establish stronger and closer relations between the two close nations on the basis of mutual trust and respect.

The reception was attended by the head of the Office of the Serbian Patriarch, Deacon Dr. Aleksandar Prascevic.
