The Serbian Patriarch visiting the Archdiocese of Cyprus

His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Irinej  pays an irenic visit to the Orthodox Church of Cyprus from November 9 -16, 2016.

At the invitation of His Beatitude Chrysostom, Archbishop of Cyprus, His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Irinej arrived in Larnaka in the evening on 9th November 2016. His Holiness and the delegation of the Serbian Orthodox Church were welcomed at the airport by Archbishop of Cyprus and the members of the Holy Synod of the Church of Cyprus.

The delegation of the Serbian Orthodox Church consists of Metropolitan Dr. Porfirije of Zagreb- Ljubljana, Bishop Irinej of Backa and Bishop Justin of Zica. The Patriarch and the hierarchs are accompanied by archpriest Dejan Jovanovic, hierodeacon Ermolaj and protodeacon Igor Davidovic.
