Slava of the Diocese of Zahumlje-Herzegovina
Saint Ignatius of Antioch (Theophorus) - the slava of the Diocese of Zahumlje-Herzegovina and His Grace Bishop Grigorije, was celebrated on January 2, 2012 in the monastery of Herzegovina's Gracanica with the Divine Liturgy which was led by Bishop Joanikije of Budimlje-Niksic with the concelebration of the hosts Bishop Grigorije and Bishop Atanasije.
During the service, hypodeacon Marko, the brother of the Zavala monastery was ordained a hierodeacon. Following the Gospel reading, Bishop Grigorije addressed the faithful.
The church was too small to gather all those who wanted to participate in the joy of the holiday. At the end of the service the slava cakes of the hos Bishop Grigorije and the abbot of the Zitomislic monastery hieromonk Danilo and the Society of the Serbian-Russian friendship who celebrate on the same day St. Danilo the Archbishop of Hum and Saint John of Kronstadt.
