Slava of Medical Center “Bezanijska Kosa”

Doctors,, hospital staff and patients of the Medical centre "Bezanijska Kosa" celebrated on January 9 its slava - St. Hierodeacon Stephen.

In the chapel of the hospital dedicated to this saint, along with several priests and deacons, His Grace Vicar Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno served the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy. At the Liturgy a great number of doctors and member of the hospital staff, along with deputy director Dr Dragan Pavlovic. After the Holy Communion, Bishop Atanasije cut the slava cake.

As we have been informed by Dr Dragan Pavlovic, deputy director of the hospital, this medical institution celebrates its slava St. Hierodeacon Stephen since 2001 and five years ago one room was transformed into a hospital chapel devoted to St. First Martyr Stephen. 

In his sermon Bishop Atanasije talked on a struggle and sacrifice of St. Hierodeacon Stephen.
