Slava of St George Carmichaels

The Kolo of the St.George Serbian Orthodox Church in Carmichaels, Pennsylvania celebrates the  Dormition of the Mother of God as the Sisters' Slava. This year  the celebration occurred on Sunday, August 31 with the Divine Liturgy and blessing of the Slava Kolac and Kolijvo. Prayers were offered for the living and  departed Kolo members. A dinner and program was held in the parish hall following the Divine Liturgy.

The Kolo members work for the parish throughout the year and are greatly appreciated. The are Christian examples for the community and the parish. They give of their time and effort freely and extensively for the benefit of the St. George Church.
