Saint Lazarus Day celebrated in the royal city of Krusevac
29. June 2020 - 14:52His Grace Bishop David of Krusevac consecrated the cornerstone of the church of the Holy Prince Lazarus in the Krusevac barracks. The ceremony was attended by Mayor Mrs. Jasmina Palurovic, Director of the BIA Mr. Bratislav Gasic, Minister Mr. Zoran Djordjevic, as well as by quite a number of the Serbian Armed Forces.
On the Eve of the Serbian Saint Lazarus Day, when the church Lazarica celebrates its founder and protector, the Holy Great Martyr Prince Lazarus, a solemn Vigil was served, after which the feast loaf was broken on the occasion of the slava of the choir of Saint Prince Lazar. The vigil, which was served by His Grace Bishop David of Krusevac and the clergy of the Diocese of Krusevac, was attended by faithful people and the clergy of the city of Krusevac.
Patron Saint-day of Holy Apostles Bartholomew and Barnabas
25. June 2020 - 10:53His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch celebrated the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the church of Holy Apostles Bartholomew and Barnabas in Rakovica on 24 June 2020.
The Patriarch was concelebrated by the local clergy. At the beginning of the service His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch consecrated a new fresco painting of the church. After the cross procession around the church, Patriarch Irinej handed over the diploma to Mr. Darko Spajic, an entrepreneur from Rakovica, for his selfless love and zeal for the Serbian Orthodox Church, and especially for the great contributions to the renovation of the church of the Holy Apostles Bartholomew and Barnabas.

Faced with the mystery of evil, we need to penetrate the mystery of good, said His Eminence Metropolitan Porfirije of Zagreb and Ljubljana at the Memorial Service for the victims of Jadovno (*Croatian concentration camp for Serbs in WWII) on 24th June 2020 over the Saran Pit, near Gospic, Croatia.
Memorial service for the victims of Jadovno was officiated by His Eminence Porfirije and Their Graces Bishops Gerasim of Gornji Karlovac and Nikodim of Dalmatia with the concelebration of the clergy of the three dioceses.

Policemen in Montenegro quit the force rather than use violence against Orthodox faithful and citizens
24. June 2020 - 12:43Two weeks ago, Miroslav Koprivica quit his construction job rather than participate in the destruction of the monastic residence at the St. Basil of Ostrog Monastery in Ulcinj, Montenegro.
Now the backhoe driver has been joined in taking a stand by Montenegrin policemen who quit the force rather than use violence against the Orthodox faithful who are protesting the persecution against the Serbian Orthodox Church in Montenegro.
