With the blessing of His Grace Bishop Teodosije of Raska-Prizren and abbot Sava, Dechani monks, protosynchellos Andrej and hieromonk Peter visited Orthodox brothers and sisters in Durres and Tirana who have been hit by the recent devastating earthquakes.

In the morning they first visited the Theological Academy and the orphanage of St. Vlasija and the Monastery of St. Myrrhbearers near Durres where they were cordially and gratefully received by Bishop Nikolai and Abbess Rahel.

Charity Action of the Diocese of Bačka

With the action of donating 45 food packages, the Charity Institution of the Diocese of Bačka “Bishop Platon Atanacković” supported on 4 and 5 December 2019 elderly and disabled people in the Novi Sad districts Veternik, Telep and Cenej.

With the blessing of Bishop Irinej of Novi Sad and Backa, with this philanthropy at work, the Charity Institution “Bishop Platon Atanackovic”, in cooperation with parish priests from two bishops' deaneries of Novi Sad, successfully completed a project called For the Joy of Life this year.

On the feast-day of Entry of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Eucharistic gathering at the Cathedral of St. Nicholas in Karlovac was presided over by Bishop Gerasim of Karlovac, Croatia, with concelebration of protopresbyter-stavrophor Radoslav Andjelic, presbyter Darko Dugonjic, and Deacon Budimir Kokotovic.

Prior to the commencement of the Holy Liturgy, the Bishop promoted Mr. Slobodan Muljaić, ecclesiarch of the Cathedral of Karlovac, into the rank of reader and hypodeacon.

On the feast of the Entry of Mary into the Temple, His Grace Bishop Theodosije of Raska-Prizren served the Holy Archhierarchal Liturgy with the concelebration of the dean of the Pristina Bishop’s Deanery protopresbyter-staurophor Svetislav Trajkovic and priests of that Deanery.

The celebration took place in the church dedicated to the Entry of Mary into the Temple dating from the 14th century.

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch served the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the monastery of the Entry of the Most Holy Mother of God in Belgrade, on the occasion of the slava of this Belgrade's holy shrines on 4 December 2019.

The Patriarch was concelebrated by Archimandrite Sava from Decani Monastery, Archimandrite Mardarije from Great Poganovo Monastery, Archimandrite Serafim from Monastery of Rajinovac, Hieromonk Evgenije from Rakovac Monastery, protopresbyter-staurophor Dragomir Sando, Stojadin Pavlovic, Milovan Glogovac i Milosav Radojevic, presbyter Bojan Ninkovic, protodeacon Damjan Bozic and deacon Vladimir Rumenic with the prayerful presence of the sisterhood of the monastery.
