First Vice President of the Government of Serbia visits Banjska Monastery
3. March 2014 - 15:22The first Vice President of the Government of Serbia Mr. Aleksandar Vucic visited Banjska Monastery and talked with Bishop Teodosije of Raska-Prizren.
First Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic announced yesterday, after having visited the monastery of Banjská near Zvečan, that the dialogue of Belgrade with the provisional authorities in Pristina would continue between 13 and 18 March. Vucic pointed out that Belgrade still insisted on the release of four Serbs who are in custody in Kosovo and reiterated that Serbia required from the international community to respect the basic human rights of our citizens.
St. Michael’s Homebush 2014 Parish Camp – “Walking With Christ”

March 2014 - 11:43From Friday 14th February to Sunday 16th February 2014, St. Michael's Serbian Orthodox Church held its 2014 parish camp in a beautiful bushland location at a campsite in Galston Gorge. Approximately 40 adults and children attended the camp and participated in a variety of spiritual, educational and recreational activities.The theme of the camp was "Walking With Christ".
Saint Sava solemnly celebrated in Schererville

February 2014 - 10:58On Sunday, January 26, the parish and Church School of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church in Schererville, Indiana, celebrated the patron saint of all Orthodox Serbs – Saint Father Sava, the first Serbian Archbishop and Enlightener. Heavy snow and low temperatures not remembered for decades did not prevent a large number of parishioners and children to take part in the celebration. After the Divine Liturgy, Prota Dobrivoje Milunović blessed the Slava bread and wheat followed by a slava luncheon. Kumovi for this year's slava were Nenad, son of Drago and Nada Vujnić, natives of Kričke in Dalmatia, and Natasa, the daughter of Kristina and Predrag Tomic, natives of Glamoc.
Saint Nicholas Church in Phoenix celebrates Fiftieth Anniversary
28. February 2014 - 10:50The St. Nicholas Church-School congregation in Phoenix, Arizona celebrated their fiftieth anniversary last weekend. "Formal and solemn" best describe the atmosphere among the Serbs in metro Phoenix. With their presence three hierarchs elevated the truly great jubilee: the host, Bishop Maxim of Western America, Bishop Longin of New Gracanica and Midwestern America and special guest Bishop Grigorije of Zahum and Herzegovina. There were also guests who came from all over: Herzegovina, Chicago, California, Hawaii.
