On the tenth Sunday after the Pentecost, His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch served the Hierarchal Divine Liturgy in the church of the Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos in Belgrade. His Holiness was concelebrated by protopresbyters-staurophors Stevan Stankovic, head of the church Zarko Anicic, hieromonk Pahomije from Sanct Peterburg (Russia), protodeacon Dr. Pribislav Simic adn deacon Ivan Strbacki.
Transfiguration of the Lord in Trebinje

The Transfuguration of the Lord, the Patron Saint's Day of the Cathedral Church and the city of Trebinje also this year was solemnly celebrated. On the Eve of the feast day a holiday joy could be felt in the city which was full of guests, who came on this occasion from many parts of the country and abroad. On the very same evening the vesper service was served with holy bread tray, which was served by His Grace Bishop Grigorije of Zahumlje-Herzegovina with priests and guests.
After 1200 years they build a new church

Prokuplje will get, after 12 centuries, a new church, hierarchal deputy of Toplica Lazar Barac said today. In Prokuplje there is now the church of St. Procopius, built at the end of 9th century. The saint after which the church got the name was buried there and it is one of the oldest churches in Serbia.
Now, with a blessing of Patriarch Irinej, within the territory of the Prokuplje hospital a construction of a church Sts. Cosmas and Damian, and the local administration decided to also begin with a construction of a church of St. George, said Barac.
Bishop Joanikije serves in Djurdjevi Stupovi monastery

His Grace Bishop Joanikije of Budimlje-Niksic served on Sunday, August 14 on the feast day of the Procession of the Cross, the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the monastery of Djurdjevi Stupovi. His Grace Bishop was concelebrated by several priests of the hierarchal regency of Berane and monks of the monastery of Djurdjevi Stupovi.
