Solemn service in Nürnberg

On Sunday, July 22, His Grace Bishop Konstantine of Middle Europe served the Hierarchal Divine Liturgy in the church of Sts. Cyril and Methodius in Nürnberg on the occasion of the feast day of the Icon of the Three-Handed Theotokos of Hilandar. The Bishop was concelebrated by local Nürnberger priests.

On this occasion, His Grace Bishop ordained the Nürnberger parish priest a protopresbyter, while deacon Zlatibor Kojadinovic was entitled to wear a red belt.

One more copy of the icon of the Three-handed Theotokos of Hilandar could be found in the Orthodox church in Nürnberg, so its feast usually is marked solemnly. One of the copies of this icon also could be found in the Serbian Orthodox church of Most Holy Theotokos in Wuperthal, and one in the church of St. Sava in Berlin.
